Apprentice Expectations

Hello and welcome to Superlative Exemplar! We hope that you enjoy your time here. For your information please take a look at our Guild Rules & Guidelines. We realize that it is quite a bit of information to absorb all at once, so feel free to start with just the Member Expectations thread for now. That thread explains our guild philosophy and will give you an idea of what SE is all about.

Of course, we're not just about rules here in SE! Our members are eager to meet you... please introduce yourself by creating a thread in the Member Profiles section. While you are there you can find out a bit more about our current members.

As an Apprentice you will be given temporary membership for a period of 30 days. At the end of that time our full members will hold a vote to determine whether or not we will extend an invitation for permanent membership status. This system is in place to help ensure that SE is the best possible place for you to be.

If you do not find yourself being promoted to a full membership rank at the end of your one month trial period, you may be encountering one of the following issues: A) We're forgetful, and have not fulfilled our duties of holding a vote in the proper time period. B) An Officer hasn't seen you online in a while (we like to handle promotions in person =)). Or C) You have failed to show enough participation during your Apprentice period.

If the latter is the case, you will find yourself stripped of rights, and demoted to the On Trial rank. If this has happened, you should contact an Officer as soon as possible to discuss the details of why a demotion took place, and how to get back on track for full membership. Applicants which continue facing issues run the risk of expulsion from the guild after one month.

In order to make your time as an Apprentice beneficial for both you and our current members we would like to make the following suggestions:

Don't be a stranger! We don't have strict rules requiring that you must log in for a certain amount of time, but it is difficult for us to get to know you during this trial period if you can only log on for a few minutes per week.

Don't be afraid to speak up in /g chat! Most of our members have adopted the habit of writing a greeting in /g chat whenever they log on. This certainly isn't required, but you'll definitely find it easier to interact with our members if they realize that you are logged in. Also, don't be afraid to put in a request for any activities you want to do like hunting in a specific area or running a dungeon.

Please inform us if you decide to share or give away your account. We take great pride in both our guild's reputation within the Dofus community and the strong familial bond that our members have formed with each other. Both of these are put at risk when unknown players are given control of a character with the SE tag above their head. We must insist that any other players that share your account information fill out an application as well so that we are comfortable with them logging your character.

If there is anything that we can do to make your stay more pleasant please don't hesitate to let us know. Our Officers are willing to help with your problems. Please feel free to /whisper us in game or to send us a private message on the forum.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. May your stay in Superlative Exemplar be long and joyous!
